Dr Misra completed his degree in medicine from AIIMS and is an internationally acclaimed researcher and scientist. He has been a professor at AIIMS, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and was the WHO fellow at Royal Free Hospital in UK. He has been a member of many national and international policy and decision-making bodies and has received several prestigious orations and awards.
