Dr Sharan Shivraj Patil is a graduate from MR Medical College, Gulbarga and has worked in some of the premier teaching institutions in the UK from 1992-1996. In December 1995, Sharan was awarded the Mch Orth degree from Liverpool University, making him the youngest graduate to be accorded this honour. He writes regularly for Indexed Journals and is the president elect for the Bangalore Orthopedic Society for 2008.
