Global Broadcast Network Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GBN) is a Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, having its Registered Office at 601, 6th floor, commercial tower, Hotel Le Meridian, Raisina Marg, New Delhi 110001
GBN has obtained license(s) from the Government of India, to broadcast a News & current affairs television channel in India. GBN has a national footprint and broadcast / airs the same under the brand name ‘CNN-IBN’.
By participating in the CNN-IBN Contest – Secret Kitchen (hereinafter referred to as ‘SK’), you irrevocably agree and assure to the following User Agreement between yourself and GBN.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Contest shall commence on 2nd June and shall close on 7th July, 2007
2. This contest is open only to Indian citizens who are residents of India.
3. The contestants can participate in the contest by logging on to ibnlive.com or submitting their recipes through the phone numbers listed above or promoted on the channel
4. The best recipes would be chosen by the experts and there would be 2 winners every week, who will win a TTK Prestige microwave each Model number (Convection-PMGC-25SS)
5. Participants can submit as many entries as they wish to either by logging on to ibnlive.com or through the phone
6. CNN-IBN / GBN would announce the Winner every week during the program “Secret kitchen”. The Winner shall also be intimated at his/her correspondence address as available with CNN-IBN / GBN. Decision of the Management of CNN-IBN / GBN in this regard shall be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
7. The Prizes shall not be transferable.
8. The Prizes are subject to the laws of India and deduction of taxes, levies and other statutory payments, which is currently @ 30.6% of the MRP of the product. This amount shall be as applicable and borne solely by the Winner and paid for by the Winner. The Prize would be delivered / handed over to the Winner on proper identification and verification and also providing proof of payment of all applicable taxes and levies. This amount would be colleted by GBN & would then be submitted to the govt.
9. CNN-IBN / GBN shall not be responsible for the quality, deficiency of any product/service, in any manner whatsoever.
10. CNN-IBN/GBN will have the rights to reproduce all the entries on TV, internet, mobile or in print. CNN-IBN/GBN would give due credits to the contestant.
11. Minors below the age of 18 years are entitled to participate in the Contest. However, in the event that a minor below the age of 18 years participates and wins in the Contest he/she shall not be entitled to the Prize unless, he/she is represented by the legal parent/guardian, and the legal parent/guardian completes all necessary formalities on his/her behalf.
12. If the Winner does not collect the Prize before 10th October, 2007, the prize shall unconditionally and irrevocably lapse.
13. Participants will have to call on the numbers listed above or log on to ibnlive.com to participate in the contest. GBN / CNN-IBN will not be responsible for any incomplete entries, or entries that cannot be deciphered.
14. The prize winners will be announced on CNN-IBN and will be contacted on the phone number from which the winning entry has been received. In addition to informing the participants that they have won, the following details will be taken from them to enable CNN-IBN to deliver the prize to them:
    
    1. Name
    2. Age
    3. Postal Address
    4. Bank Account Number / Other ID proofs
15. In order to avoid fraudulent delivery, identification proof would be provided by the winner.
16. In case of incomplete identification, the prize will not be dispatched or handed over to the winner.
17. GBN will not be responsible for loss of the prize in transit or once they are handed over to the winners.
18. Employees of GBN, other agencies and suppliers involved with the contest and their relatives shall not be entitled to participate in any manner
19. All rights, title and interest in the promotional material(s) and any/all entries received shall vest solely and exclusively with CNN-IBN / GBN at all times
20. All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi only.
21. GBN reserves the right to change, alter or cancel this contest in part or full or change all or any part of terms and conditions that are applicable, with out giving prior intimation of any kind and being liable for any consequential losses/damages.
22. Nothing here in amounts to a commitment or representation by GBN to conduct further or other schemes..
23. Decision of GBN / CNN-IBN is final and cannot be changed.
