According to a notification issued by Maharashtra government, underworld don Abu Salem's life is under threat. So much so that the state government says he cannot be produced in any court of the land. But Salem says there is no threat and the government is making excuses to keep him in jail without trial. Salem, one of the main accused in the 1993 Bombay blasts case, was extradited from Portugal in 2005 and is facing multiple charges in various courts including the Patiala House court in Delhi .
